Information you give us directly:

• Your mobile number, used to log in and verify your identity via OTP
• Your name and any other profile details you choose to add
• Information needed to fulfill a redemption — for example, the mobile number for a recharge, the DTH ID or electricity consumer number for a bill payment, or the email address to receive an e-voucher
• Your responses if you choose to complete an in-app survey
• Any messages you send us, such as support requests

Information we collect automatically:

• Your quiz activity — questions answered, scores, time taken, and which quiz formats you play. This is how we calculate your points, rank you on the leaderboard, and detect unfair play.
• Your points and wallet history — points earned, redemptions made, and referral activity
• Device and app information — device type, operating system, app version, and general diagnostic/crash data, used to keep the app working properly
• Your IP address and approximate location (city/region level), used mainly for security and fraud prevention

Information from third parties:

• If a friend refers you using their referral code, we receive that connection so we can credit both accounts correctly.

We do not knowingly collect more information than we need for the app to work, and we don't ask for financial details like your bank account or card numbers — redemption is handled through our payment/voucher partners directly, as described in Section 4.

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account, and log you in securely via OTP
• Run the quizzes — show you questions, calculate your score, and update your points and rank
• Process your point redemptions (recharge, bill payments, e-vouchers, in-app store)
• Credit referral points correctly between you and your friends
• Detect and prevent cheating, fraud, or misuse of the app (like multiple accounts or automated play)
• Improve the app — for example, using survey responses or usage patterns to build better features
• Send you important updates about your account, quizzes, or changes to our policies
• Send optional notifications (like reminders about a live quiz), which you can turn off in Settings
• Meet our legal obligations, such as responding to a valid legal request from an authority

We don't sell your personal information. We only share it in these situations:

• Redemption partners — when you redeem points, we share the minimum information needed (like a phone number for recharge, or an email for a voucher) with the specific recharge, bill-payment, or voucher provider to fulfill that redemption.
• Service providers — companies that help us run the app, such as our cloud hosting provider (our data is currently hosted on servers located in India) and our SMS/OTP provider. These providers can only use your information to provide services to us, not for their own purposes.
• Legal reasons — if required by law, a court order, or a government authority, or if we reasonably believe it's necessary to protect the safety of our users or the integrity of the platform.
• Business changes — if FSR Quiz is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy (or a policy that offers at least the same protections).

• Your data is stored on secure servers, currently located in India.
• We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — like encrypted connections and access controls — to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
• No system is 100% secure, so while we work hard to protect your data, we can't guarantee absolute security.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Erase your personal information, including by deleting your account (see Section 8)
• Withdraw consent for optional processing (like optional notifications) at any time
• Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity
• File a grievance with us if you're unhappy with how we've handled your information (see Section 11), and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if it isn't resolved To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after that if needed for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes (for example, keeping redemption records to resolve a dispute about a past reward). Exact retention periods are determined based on legal requirements and business needs.

You can delete your account at any time from the app's Settings. When you do:

• Your profile and account access will be removed.
• Some information — like redemption records or information we're required to keep for legal or fraud-prevention reasons — may be retained for a limited period as permitted by law, even after account deletion.

FSR Quiz is intended for users who meet the minimum age set out in our Terms and Conditions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without verifiable parental consent where required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age without the consent required by law.

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if we add a new feature that collects different information. If we make a significant change, we'll let you know through the app or by other reasonable means before it takes effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.
